The term software engineering stands for a methodology to create high quality software in an engineering-like manner, cost-effectively within a fixed budget and at a fixed time.
The development of software is offered by us as an engineering service. In doing so, we rely on a systematic model of software development, which is divided into four phases:

- Integration test.
After the acceptance test at the customer’s site, the productive operation of the developed product begins. Like any other technical product, the werusys software can, within certain limits, be supported and maintained during use.
The project management organizes project-related tasks centrally. The basis of cost-minimized projects is careful, reliable and sustainable project planning, which must be done in advance. In addition to deadline monitoring tailored to the individual project components, this includes comprehensive technical system knowledge and the ability to optimally combine resources and personnel. It is particularly important for us to be able to react flexibly to short-term changes.
werusys offers you modern agile project management. Agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban are characterized, among other things, by the fact that comprehensive tasks are optimally broken down into individual processes, which are delegated to competent system specialists. This way the project is realized as a homogeneous workflow. Standardized aids and computer-supported tools are used, which are closely based on generally accepted quality assurance guidelines.
We live the principles and use various methods and techniques of agile software development such as Scrum.
Computer-operated process control and automation
We take over the development of individual software for your problem in order to control industrial processes or visualize and archive process data, for example.
Our applications run “interrupt controlled” and are real-time capable. We program for the operating systems DOS, Microsoft Windows® 3.x, 95 and NT as well as Unix und OS/2®.
Software quality assurance
Quality assurance is rightfully growing in value throughout companies. In order to provide IT systems according to quality assurance criteria, different validation guidelines exist. werusys offers you its own quality assurance concept. It has already been used successfully several times as the basis to validate GMP-equitable software (Good Manufacturing Practice, Pharmacy Standard).
Our own Quality Management System is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.
Werusys has extensive experience and understanding of the company’s operational data platform. In combination with Seeq’s advanced analysis solution, it is a natural extension that will improve the digital transformation of the customer’s processes.

As a Seeq Certified Instructor we can support Seeq in meeting the high demand for training in Germany and Europe. This enables Werusys to conduct Seeq training and to train and certify other teams. In this way Werusys is now able to demonstrate not only its professional competence in data analysis at customer sites but also to demonstrate that it is able to pass on the use of the Seeq tool to the customer.

Fraunhofer Society SCAI
Together with the SCAI department of the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, we have developed an energy management system funded by the BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research). Unlike other systems, we are able to optimize process parameters (e.g. energy or material usage) on the basis of the optimization algorithms used.
- Neutral support for software selection, procurement and implementation projects: Support in the detailing of tenders (target/actual analysis); preparation of evaluated market overviews based on enquêtes; preparation of documented shortlists; organization of vendor presentations or interviews; support during the SOP/fine concept phase; if desired, participation in the implementation project
- Preparation of requirement and functional specifications, technical manuals and general documentation, electronic help systems and tutor teaching concepts;
- Training and seminars in the areas of (industrial) user software and programming (from beginner courses to advanced seminars for advanced users);
- Support of our customers in the commercial-technical area of procurement and logistics by our employees according to the AÜG.
